The disruptions in the geopolitical landscape of recent years, where states are being deconstructed to fit corporate interests, need to be counteracted. The Voltairian infamous that needs to be crushed today is the destructive, orthodox church of unfettered free market capitalism - and its clergy of ideologues - that undermine democracy, that bring unnecessary inequality to nations & their citizenry. There is such a thing as society; we must reinvigorate it in a third democratic revolution.
